As all of you know, BURNED iN is a tech site. Now, as any tech site, we aspire to grow and gain readers. Some of the ways that is done is through clever, well-written and in-depth reviews (I don't mean to brag, but, well... whatever). Oh, but we all know that mere mortal humans are filled with vanity for the superficial looks. So aside from designing a good looking website (which we were, I think, pretty successful at), what else can we do to look good? Oh, I know! Of course, professional-quality product pictures for our reviews! In fact, something like, well, this:

Alright, enough of the wackiness. It is important to produce quality, professional images to go with our reviews. After all, how does a well-written review look when it has trashy pictures? Not particularly appealing. A well-rounded review is going to have to include a no-BS, well-written performance and feature asessment as well as professional-quality images of the product. So how do we get our picture fix?
Let me introduce you to my weapon of choice- the Nikon D3x. Sorry Cannon fanbois, I can't say there's anything I don't really like about this camera's awesome 24MP sensor. Sure, if any of you out there rock a Hasselblad body, you can consider me put to shame, but I simply haven't reached that kind of photography expense zen. For most of the shots, I use a Nikon D3x fitted with a 24-70mm Nikkor lens. Works great.

That's all well and good, but the camera is only half the story. What about the place where I take the pictures? The answer's on the next page if you were wondering how the images are captured in such an ideal scene.
