Alienware has been a well-known boutique system builder for a long time,
producing a large line of performance desktops and laptops. Whilst most
enthusiasts build their own desktops, for the most part that is not a
possibility with a laptop, thus their line of high-end laptops has been
the most well-known. For years, Alienware produced only a 15" gaming
laptop SKU and a 17" gaming laptop SKU. However, just recently Alienware
for the first time introduced an ultraportable 11" laptop, the M11x.
Now, Alienware seems ready to adopt other formfactors, with leaked
information coming out detailing an all-out 18-inch and a portable
14-inch laptop.

The laptops are presumed to be Sandy Bridge platform, and the M18x will sport a 1080p screen and either two Radeon HD 6870Ms in CrossFire of two GeForce GTX 460Ms in SLi.  At the moment, the only information on the 14-inch laptop is that it is likely to use either a GeForce GT 555M or a Radeon HD 6770M. Additionally, both laptops will have the Alienware AlienFX lighting that Alienware is well known for. Looks like a couple svelte new formfactors to put some pep into Alienware's lineup. Source
